Today I successfully completed my PADI Instructor Examination at Lake Coleridge near Christchurch, New Zealand. This makes me a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and allows me to conduct the following PADI courses:

• Discover Scuba Diving,
• Bubblemaker,
• Seal Team,
• Scuba Diver,
• Open Water Diver,
• Adventure Diver,
• Advanced Open Water Diver,
• Rescue Diver,
• Divemaster,
• the Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty,
• the Project AWARE Specialty,
• and the AWARE - Coral Reef Conservation Specialty.

My instructor examiners were Brigit Jager and Tim Marshall of PADI Asia-Pacific. For my open water presentations I got an average of 4.7 out of 5 possible points, thanks to the excellent training during my instructor development course by Tony Howell of the New Zealand Sea Adventures dive center, Wellington, New Zealand.
